Tsunami alert of 12 September 2007
On 12 September 2007 a Tsunami watch was sounded following the 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Sumatra. A lightning survey was conducted by ADEPT to study the effect of the alert.

A magnitude 8.0 South Pacific undersea earthquake 345 km north-west of Solomon Islands, touched off a Tsunami that caused massive damage to the Solomon Islands on 2 April 2007 at 7.40 am local time (2040 GMT on 1 April 2007)
